Barton Park is an exciting new development to the north-east of Oxford and is a joint venture between Oxford City Council and Grosvenor Developments Ltd. The Blackwell Group are the contractors for the infrastructure works at this new development.

Requirement

Section 278 works in relation to the Barton Park Project were required including junction works, kerbing, surfacing, block paving, thermoplastic lining and the installation of street lighting.

Solution

ODS worked with the developer and colleagues within Oxford City Council to identify appropriate materials and solutions to improve both the surface and drainage at the site.

Results

The end result was a high quality highways works completed to S278 standard delivered within budget.
