A community's effort

Last Saturday saw 200 native trees and shrubs planted by over 40 Low Carbon Oxford North volunteers under the guidance of our Parks Team.

This was the second winter session that the team has supported; the first having gathered over 20 volunteers to plant over 200 trees in November 2018, marking National Tree Week.

This means 400 trees have been planted at Cutteslowe Community Wood so far with the help of over 60 volunteers.

To mulch the newly planted trees, our team will be running another session on 6 April from 10.30am to 12.30pm. This will help control the grass around the newly planted trees and help retain moisture.

Everybody's welcome to join in. There will be tea and coffee provided.
