The advantages

All the glass we collect is recycled in the UK. Glass in good condition can be recycled infinitely with no loss of quality. Broken glass can be ground down and used for aggregate in the construction industry.

The glass we collect is disposed of at a Mixed Recycling Facility (MRF). This waste is then recycled using a combination of advanced mechanical and manual sorting techniques. Manual quality control is used to separate the materials so that they can be reprocessed into new glass products.
