2025 Christmas collection schedule
15 December – 28 December
Possible change to collection time
During this short period time, all customers are asked to leave their waste out before 6am on your scheduled day to ensure collection.
Commercial Waste Sacks (City Centre only)
• No collections on Christmas Day – 25 December 2025.
• Sacks will be collected as normal across the rest of the festive period (City Centre only).
Day by day breakdown
Christmas Eve – 24 December 2025
• Business as usual
• If your regular collection falls on a Wednesday, your waste will be collected as normal.
Christmas Day – 25 December 2025
• No collections
• If your regular collection falls on a Thursday, all waste (including additional collections) will be collected on your next scheduled collection day.

Boxing Day – 26 December 2025
• No collections
• If your regular collection falls on a Friday, all waste (including additional collections) will be collected on your next scheduled collection day.
• If this causes disruption to your business then please contact our customer services team using the details below.
Saturday 27 December – Thursday 31 December 2025
• Business as usual
• If your regular collection falls during this period, your waste will be collected as normal.
New Years Day – 1 January 2026
• No collections
• If your regular collection falls on a Thursday, all waste (including additional collections) will be collected on your next scheduled collection day.

All other collections remain unaffected.
