Menopause Workplace Pledge
Menopause Workplace Pledge
We are delighted to announce that Anne-Marie Scott, has signed the Menopause Workplace Pledge on behalf of ODS. In doing so, our company has committed to taking positive action to make sure everyone going through menopause is supported.
Why is this important? Women make up nearly half of the UK workforce, but many feel forced to reduce their hours at work or pass up promotions and it is estimated that a staggering 900,000 women have quit their jobs due to a lack of menopause support.
Anne-Marie said: “My workplace has signed up to the Menopause Workplace Pledge to make sure all women and staff going through menopause are supported.
“I am proud to work for an organisation that looks after its employees at all stages of their careers.”
We are in good company… so far, more than 1,700 employers, including the BBC, Tesco and Royal Mail, have signed the pledge
And, according to a survey undertaken by the charity Wellbeing of Women more than 93% of organisations that responded said the Menopause Workplace Pledge has driven positive change in their workplaces.
This is one of many ways that ODS is committed to ‘doing good’ for all of its workforce. Further information on the Pledge and the work of the charity can be found here.
